We are seeking an Administrative Coordinator to support the SF BUILD Counter Initiative and the department's DEI Committee. The role entails providing organizing and logistical support, supporting grant and fundraising activities, and facilitating cross-institutional communication between UCSF and SF State. Key responsibilities include planning the annual symposium, coordinating seminars, and serving as a communication hub to help sustain our UCSF - SF State partnership. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, project management, and event planning skills, alongside experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

In addition, this position involves providing administrative support to the department's DEI Committee. Responsibilities include scheduling meetings, documenting and following up on committee actions, and assisting with DEI-related events and outreach. The role requires proficiency in managing communication with both internal and external stakeholders, preparing event materials, and supporting faculty recruitment and retention efforts. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication abilities, and a commitment to DEI principles in academic settings.


The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $29.05 - $53.50 (Hourly Rate).
