The Operations Manager for International Partnerships reports directly to the Senior Director of International Enrollment Management and also works with the Director of International Partnerships to provide management and operations related to Channel partners, Institutional partners as well as Contract and Financial management for establishing, managing, and evolving the B-to-B (representative) network including institutional partner network and key recruitment/program relationships globally. The primary focus of this position is to ensure the quality of partner development/operations and management as well as provide excellent customer service. This position requires the ability to work with insight, tact and diplomacy when interacting with constituents within Northeastern's Colleges and external partners. Additionally, this position will support strategic international enrollment initiatives under the broader scope of the Global Enrollment Management department.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Partnership Management:
Serve as a manager for operations of a large portfolio of international partnerships.
Maintain relationships with worldwide recruitment channel partners.
Work with the Director on assessing and implementing any changes necessary to ensure efficient and effective facilitation of international channel partnerships.
Work with Director to build an optimal management platform to manage partner relationships.
Coordinate with international channel partners to ensure the smooth recruitment process of ongoing programs including program update, related program training, etc.
Support the Director to manage North American based channel partners' affairs including but not limited to training, fairs, and other promotion events.
Assist with the Director for institutional partners' development and management
Provide support for partner visits.
Financial Management
Work with various financial departments across campus and with the Director to obtain necessary student enrollment related data ensuring accurate and timely commission payments of incoming invoices and EM fund transfer that adhere to university standards and contractual obligations.
Provide training and update to the channel partners regarding invoicing process.
Collect, and process invoices timely following the contractual terms.
Contract Management
Work under the direction of the Director to process and manage channel partner contracts, as well as related application and supporting materials.
Participate with the Director in the management of international partnership establishment and negotiation between internal academic departments and external partners to finalize and operate collaborative programs.
Customer Service and Others
Manage international partner email box ensure smooth communications and good customer service
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree in Higher Education or Management or related field and 2+ years of experience required, preferably in a higher education setting.
Individual must have strong communication skills (verbal and written), proven experience with databases, experience working with a diverse student population a must. He/She must have experience working independently and as a member of a team.
Working knowledge of the US Higher Education administration and familiarity with global higher education systems.
Commitment to international education and the promotion of cross-cultural understanding.
Ability to interact with international representatives, faculty, and students in a highly professional manner with an understanding of protocol and confidentiality.
Solid organizational, project management, administrative, and computer skills.
Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office software required. Familiarity with Salesforce and student record systems (e.g., Banner) preferred.
Proficiency in a second or third language preferred.
