Animal Hospital Randolph is seeking a Medical Director to join our amazing four-doctor animal practice in Asheboro, NC. The Medical Director serves as the clinical leader of the hospital and is responsible for the ongoing evaluation and management of the hospital, as well as the delivery of patient care. The Medical Director works in partnership with the Practice Manager to ensure a high standard of medical case management and provide excellent care.

Serve as a key medical communication liaison between the hospital and area leadership.
The Medical Director will also oversee our Sister Hospital (Animal Hospital Biscoe) 1 day a week.
Partner with the Practice Manager to manage the hospital as role models and champions of United Veterinary Care’s brand to provide consistent high-quality care and unmatched client experience to the most pets and clients and to maximize efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
Train the team on hospital guidelines and practices. Supervise and train the team to ensure compliance.
Teach and coach on case management, exam room communication, annual reviews and excellent client service and monthly doctor meetings (refer to doctor meeting best practices document).
Supports regular staff meetings and holds all staff accountable for knowing what has been discussed and how it impacts the health of the hospital.
Sets the medical vision for the hospital, advocating and ensuring medical quality with optimum client experience
Works supportively with the hospital (practice) manager in understanding administrative and personnel issues while building effective teams.
Engages associate veterinarians by developing talent, creating collaborative relationships, and delivering consistent results.
Makes sound judgments and utilizes UVC leadership when needed.
Requirements:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
Active, or ability to obtain, NC license in good standing to practice
