Position Purpose: The Enrollment Communications and Operations Specialist works within enrollment operations supporting the Division of Enrollment and Marketing. Services include project management of communication efforts in enrollment for Aurora University.Essential Job Functions:Communication Plan Development and Project ManagementAct as a strategic partner to enrollment managers and University Communications to ensure alignment with goals and branding standards.Coordinate and manage enrollment communication projects, ensuring that projects are completed accurately, on time, and with input and approval from key stakeholders.Collaborate with enrollment managers to develop communication plans, including direct mail, email and digital marketing campaigns, and flyers, and implement them in Slate CRM.Build, design, and schedule email campaigns and portals.Streamline processes, address gaps, and recommend improvements to enhance marketing and communication efforts.CRM Operations and Technical ExpertiseManage and optimize functionality within CRM’s (Slate) email, forms, and portal modules.Develop and maintain content using Liquid markup, content blocks, and conditional logic.Build and manage queries to generate dynamic, personalized content for emails and portals.Apply knowledge of HTML/CSS to customize and enhance templates, portals, and email designs.Ensure the technical infrastructure supports effective and efficient communication workflows.Event Communication CollaborationCollaborate with the Enrollment Systems Manager to support event creation and query development for email invitations and event-related communications in Slate.Coordinate the development of event communication strategies, ensuring accurate content, timely production, and seamless delivery.Verify query accuracy and ensure smooth integration of event communications across all channels.Align event communication efforts with enrollment goals and institutional standards.

Education:
Bachelor?s degree required.
Experience:
1-3 years experience using a CRM required.
1-3 years experience in marketing highly preferred.
Prior experience using Slate is highly preferred.
Prior experience in higher education ideal.
Skills:
Project management.
Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
Excellent proofreading skills, organization and detailed-orientation, and ability to multitask.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work at a computer station for long periods of time.
Ability to move about campus.
Ability to communicate and interact via electronic mail, telephone, and virtually.
