The Audio-Visual (AV) Services Analyst will support the strategic design, implementation, and maintenance of UCSF's audio-visual systems and infrastructure. This role provides engineering and technical support to ensure seamless operation of AV infrastructure, minimizing downtime and optimizing efficiency. The AV Services Analyst is responsible for assisting in designing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining audio-visual equipment across platforms. The AV Services Analyst may provide support and technical guidance to other IS teams, ensuring adherence to industry best practices in all technology-related procedures.

The AV Services Analyst will positively impact UCSF's operations and culture by ensuring UCSF's IT digital workplace communications services are integrated and effective in service of the university's academic mission. The Analyst will advance the University's mission by delivering exceptional information technology services comprehensively and consistently across faculty, staff, and students. The AV Services Analyst will execute UCSF's vision while modeling UCSF's culture and values.

This role involves applying user-centered design processes, industry standards, engineering, or best practices to create, evaluate, and modify designs and prototypes supporting audio-visual (AV) systems design. The AV Services Analyst creates plans and specifications for highly detailed, complex AV IT projects based on clients' needs, aligning design with codes, regulations, and AV IT engineering best practices. The Analyst communicates with clients, monitors projects, creates documentation and specifications for third-party installation teams and verifies installation work. The Analyst coordinates with other construction engineering teams, participates in building meetings, and coordinates inspections.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $67,000 - $143,800 (Annual Rate).
