Full-Time or Part-Time Associate Veterinarian Position for a Small Animal General Practice (Privately Owned)

About Us and Our Practice:

Located in beautiful Northern California, Red Bluff offers access to outdoor adventures like hiking, backpacking, horseback riding, boating, fishing, and skiing, along with cultural events and concerts. With easy access to San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Seattle through nearby airports, plus a remarkably  affordable cost of living, it’s an ideal place to live and work.

We are an independently owned, 3-DVM practice with a  healthcare team that works well together due to our core values.. Our facility offers digital radiography, dental radiography, Idexx in-house lab equipment, as well as a hand-held Butterfly ultrasound. We also have a Midmark dental unit, full anesthesia monitors with capnography. We use ezyVet for our electronic medical records and have the option to use AI software (Scribble Vet) to assist with medical records. In addition, we have an awesome doctor-to-staff ratio of support with a highly leveraged team that allows you to focus on being a doctor! 

A typical day would include alternating between surgery in the morning and appointments in the afternoon (or vice versa), time reserved for same-day urgent care appointments as well as staggering wellness appointments and sick appointments. We set time aside for callbacks in the middle of the day as well as at the end of the day. 

Who We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills with both clients and team members as well as be skilled but eager to learn and teach. Interested in ownership or partnership? We'd love to chat, but it's not a requirement.

• 4-day work week – Flexible Schedule 
• Compensation commensurate with experience; pro-sal with no negative accrual; base starting at $120,000
