The Department of Dermatology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) is seeking a fellowship-trained Dermatopathologist at the Instructor/Assistant or Associate Professor level to join our practice site located at our main campus in Washington Heights. Rank will be commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will join as an established Dermatopathologist in providing clinical care, teaching, and/or research services in a busy academic practice with a residency training program and a future Dermatopathology fellowship. The Division of Dermatopathology at CUIMC processes over 140,000 specimens per year and evaluates approximately 1000 direct immunofluorescence cases per year. Robust cutaneous oncology and lymphoma programs, a large inpatient consultation practice, and subspecialty clinics make the Dermatopathology division a leading one in the nation.
The ideal candidate will hold board certification in Dermatology and be board certified or be board eligible in Dermatopathology and must have an excellent record of clinical, teaching, and/or research activity. Experience in artificial intelligence and digital pathology is desirable. Candidates must have a New York State medical license and DEA license prior to appointment.
