Description:
Position Summary The Visiting Research Specialist leads and coordinates complex clinical research across multiple areas, including, but not limited to, lifestyle medicine, cardiometabolic health, respiratory health, and mental health.
Duties & Responsibilities
Oversee, manage, and troubleshoot the processes and procedures for participant recruitment and retention pipeline to ensure fidelity to research protocol and high data quality.
Oversee, manage, and implement biospecimen protocols within the overall scope of the research project.
Manage and maintain accurate study records as well as updates on the study protocol and Manual of Procedures.
Oversee, manage, and coordinate participant payments.
Train and supervise junior staff and student research interns on day-to-day project needs.
Assist PI with the evaluation and monitoring of study progress and timeline.
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in social science or related field required. Master's degree in social science preferred.
A minimum of 3 years related research experience.
Possesses and applies advanced knowledge of research principles, concepts, practices and methods
