The Assistant Director of Campus Services will be responsible for managing contractual relationships and overseeing food and beverage services, as well as supervising the Campus Services Manager, their contract portfolio and team. It will also assist the Senior Director with developing strategies, project management and advancing university initiatives. This role requires strong communication and financial skills, a solution-oriented mindset, project management expertise, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of services provided to students, faculty, and staff.
A bachelor's degree and two years of relevant work experience are required. Five years of relevant experience is preferred. Higher education food service operations/customer service or contract management experience preferred.
Additional education or experience will be considered in lieu of one another.
A valid United States Driver License with a clear driving record of at least two years is required.
Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis.
What You Will Do
Monitor contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions, manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and optimize the performance of contractual agreements.
Identify and monitor key performance indicators and ensure adherence to university policies.
Conduct regular reviews to assess if contract partners are meeting intended goals.
Collaborate with the Senior Director, Campus Services and Supplier based Operations leaders to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Implement best practices, identify opportunities for service improvements and stay attuned to industry trends to ensure programs remain effective, relevant, and responsive to the evolving needs of campus.
Collaborate with the Business Operations Analyst to review and monitor financial reports, ensure contractors adhere to budgetary guidelines, identify irregularities, and implement strategies to optimize resources based on data.
Engage with students, faculty, and staff to gather feedback and assess satisfaction with services.
Collaborate with all parties to provide next in class offerings.
Support the Senior Director in leading and mentoring the Campus Services team, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
Collaborate with the team to align objectives, resources, and service delivery to better support students, faculty, and staff.
Other contracts as assigned.
Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission.
Ability to comply with University policies.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
