The Research Foundation of the State University of New York College at Oneonta invites applications for a full time Social Media and Graphics Specialist with the Office of Alumni Engagement.

In this role, you will design, produce, and manage high-quality digital and print materials, assist in planning and executing communication campaigns, and strengthen alumni engagement through effective digital marketing and social media strategies.
Key Responsibilities, but not limited to:
Design and Production: Create and produce marketing materials for alumni events at local and regional levels, including postcards, posters, brochures, emails, and web content.
Website Management: Monitor website usage, maintain up-to-date content, and ensure information accuracy and accessibility.
Email Marketing: Design, coordinate, and send targeted email campaigns to alumni, friends, and donors; analyze and report on campaign effectiveness.
Communications Scheduling: Assist in developing and managing the office's communications schedule to ensure timely delivery and alignment with engagement goals.
Newsletter Design: Design and distribute the quarterly alumni e-newsletter to keep alumni informed and engaged.
Alumni Magazine Management: Manage the layout and design of three annual issues of the alumni magazine, Reflections.
Social Media Oversight: Stay current with social media platform trends, manage social media posts and advertising, and engage with alumni community conversations.
Engagement Reporting: Produce regular reports demonstrating the reach and impact of social media and other digital engagement efforts.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in digital design or social media
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign
Basic knowledge of HTML
Experience using social media platforms for professional or organizational purposes
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in higher education
Skills in Adobe Illustrator
Familiarity with Raiser's Edge
Proficiency in copy editing
