The Bloomberg School of Public Health is seeking a full-time BSPHDirector of Continuing and Executive Education, with an anticipated start in January 2025. The Director will lead a new BSPH Office of Continuing and Executive Education and will report to the Executive Vice Dean for Academic Affairs. We are looking for a forward-thinking, action-oriented leader to develop and execute an ambitious vision for continuing and executive education at BSPH, including new non-degree/non-credit offerings, enhanced coordination and delivery of our existing certificate programs and Winter/Summer Institutes, and re-imagining of our Online Master of Applied Science (MAS) programs. Successful candidates will have experience in advancing cutting-edge educational content, implementing organizational change, leading interdisciplinary teams, and navigating complex structures. Candidates who come from diverse backgrounds, have leadership experience in higher education, bring lived experience as a continuing education learner, understand the landscape of public health education, and have deep familiarity with executive/continuing education in online and onsite formats are particularly encouraged to apply. The Director will supervise three staff members (Academic Program Manager, Sr. Academic Coordinator and Admissions Officer) and will work closely with the Office of Academic Affairs, Center for Teaching and Learning, Office of Communications and Marketing, Office of Development and Alumni Relations, Office of Financial Operations, University-level partners, and Departmental academic leadership.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Develops a vision for expanding BSPH's continuing/executing education offerings, including existing and new programs, onsite and online (including open) formats, reaching US-based and global learners.
Establishes an implementation strategy and financial model for non-degree, non-credit programs, in partnership with the Offices of Academic Affairs and Finance & Administration.
Collaborates with Departments (academic leadership and faculty members) to coordinate the design, development, and delivery of impactful continuing and executive education offerings.
Partners with the Office of Communications and Marketing to articulate a value proposition and shape appealing marketing campaigns to prospective continuing/executive education students.
Improves effectiveness and efficiency of processes for administering BSPH continuing education.
Cultivates partnership (or business-to-business) relationships with organizations to offer BSPH?s continuing/executive education offerings to their communities.
Strengthens collaborations with Development and Alumni Relations and Career Services.
Guides market analysis and use data to inform decision-making regarding strategic directions.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree in a related field.
Five years related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Five to ten plus years of professional experience in executive education or learning in an academic setting demonstrating increasing responsibility.
Demonstrated experience in developing new educational program initiatives.
