The Lead Associate Director of the Global Career Initiatives is a leadership role responsible for driving strategic initiatives that support the career management and professional success of students, alumni, and early-career professionals on a domestic and global scale. This position will collaborate with internal teams, academic departments, and external partners to develop and implement innovative programs and resources that enhance career readiness, global networking opportunities, and talent pipelines across diverse industries. The Lead Associate Director will play a critical role in shaping the global career strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and the evolving needs of a global workforce. This includes overseeing cross-functional teams, managing key partnerships with employers and leveraging data to continuously improve the effectiveness of career service programs. the ideal candidate will bring a strong background in career services management, global program development, and stakeholder engagement, combined with a passion for empowering individuals to reach their professional potential in an increasing interconnected world.
Minimum Requirements
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a Master's degree, and one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience related to the area of employment; or knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a Bachelor’s degree, and three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience developing career programs and activities; advising individuals and groups in a variety of settings; public speaking; writing and editing for mass distribution; working in a team environment; use of internet, word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Qualifications
Master's degree in higher education, business, counseling strongly preferred. Possess career coaching experience and knowledge of the specific needs of international students.
Demonstrate expertise in designing, creating, and implementing international students' career development programs.
Demonstrate familiarity with the international student recruitment landscape and ability to develop relationships with global employers.
Strong project management skills including managing and leading complex projects, setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and motivating project teams.
Outstanding multi-cultural fluency, understanding of and appreciation for then needs and concerns of a diverse student body.
Proven experience building relationships, multi-tasking, and working effectively in a team environment.
Must be able to work weekends and evenings, as needed.
Work flexible hours according to the demand of business. This position is currently expected to work three days a week in the office.
