POSITION SUMMARY
The Workforce Development Administrator serves as the primary program staff for ERIE21’s Lock 4 adult learners/job seekers. The individual is an integral part of the ERIE21 team and will collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver a robust program for adult students who are unemployed, underemployed, or displaced from the workforce, and who are interested in pursuing careers in technology and innovation.
This position is a grant-funded position. Renewal is based on funding being available from external sources and the performance review process by external sources and is contingent on the continued receival of those funds.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Job duties specific to this position:
Program Planning & Implementation
Utilize monday.com or relevant project management tools to co-create project plans with Workforce Development Manager and update plans and milestones as they are achieved
Schedule and facilitate weekly or bi-weekly meetings with program facilitators and visiting speakers, as needed
Serve as the primary staff presence at classes and program workshops
Manage Coursera and other relevant training platforms as needed
Collaborate with the Office Coordinator to solidify program logistics such as room reservations, the purchase of food and event enhancements, communicate with Le Moyne College’s marketing team, ERIE21 technology management and distribution, etc.
Develop, implement and evaluate regular program surveys to evaluate learner success and program effectiveness
Track and regularly report key performance indicators for Lock 4 to the Manager, Director, and relevant stakeholders as needed
Provide updates on student success, achievement & challenges on at least a monthly basis or as requested by the Manager, Director, or Content Facilitator(s)
Provide weekly email updates to keep learners and alumni informed of upskilling opportunities, networking events, and more
Collaborate with Workforce Development Manager, Centerstate CEO, Le Moyne’s Office of Career Advising & Development, CNY Works, and others to implement ERIE Pro (job readiness programming) to ensure Lock 4 candidates are prepared to be hired by local employers or enter further career-focused academic programs upon completion of their respective programs
Learner Support
Hold regular one-on-ones and office hours with ERIE21’s roster of adult working learners
Serve as the primary point of contact and administrator for learner emergency funds and wrap-around services
Collaborate with Grants and Operations Manager to facilitate learner stipend processes
In collaboration with Le Moyne College Information Technology and the ERIE21 Office Coordinator, maintain and manage program assets such as laptops, relevant textbooks, etc.
Communicate regularly with learners via email and other relevant channels
Alumni Engagement
Establish and document a system for tracking alumni outcomes for 3, 6, 9, and 12 months following program completion
Collaborate with Centerstate CEO to facilitate and encourage alumni participation in “Tech & Culture” events
Communicate with alumni via email and relevant channels to communicate about job opportunities, including hiring events & job fairs for up to one year post-graduation
Provide weekly or bi-weekly email updates to keep alumni informed of upskilling opportunities, networking events and more
Program Marketing & Promotion
Collaborate with marketing partners to manage Lock 4 social media content
Serve as primary contact and collaborate with Le Moyne’s marketing team & relevant partners for the development of relevant print and digital marketing materials
Represent ERIE21 at job fairs and host program information sessions in the community quarterly or as needed to achieve program outcomes
Recruitment & Admission
Document and refine program admissions processes including, but not limited to, application design, candidate communications, prospective student interviews, etc.
Create print and digital marketing materials for recruitment
Manage prospective student inquiries and hold informational calls or meetings as needed
Finalize program rosters and maintain up-to-date applicant files; Regularly update the ERIE21 database with relevant information
Manage program waitlist & make referrals to interested students as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s required, Master’s preferred
Workforce development experience is strongly preferred
Knowledge of local, state, and federal support services to refer students to appropriate community resources (i.e. transportation, financial assistance, childcare)
Willingness to work flexible hours with occasional weekend and evening work
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated interpersonal, presentation, and written skills
Openness to discovering and learning new technologies and platforms
Valid Driver’s License (some travel is required to and from offsite locations. Mileage will be reimbursed by the College).
