Location: Chicago, ILJob Description:Assist department managerial and executive staff in the management of successful billing and compliance activities.Ensure that all professional and hospital charges are posted accurately and timely, and that the department meets chart documentation, CPT and ICD-9-CM/ICD-10-CM requirements.Review coding procedures, workflow issues, billing infrastructure, and the performance of Coders/Abstractors.Inform department administrators, physicians and Abstractor/Coders of regulatory changes.Assist in departmental compliance efforts by participating in training sessions, performing audits, and promoting an understanding of procedures, policies and expectations.
