The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary
Reporting to the Director, Career Education and Advising Strategy, within the School???s Career Management Center (CMC), the Associate Director will provide one-on-one career coaching and manage a school-wide career education programs, including overseeing the CMC Fellow Peer-Advisory Program. This role is responsible for identifying opportunities and implementing operational improvements to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of career education initiatives across CMC. The Associate Director collaborates with other CMC team members to evaluate and enhance job search content and career management related resources, supporting comprehensive and impactful advising services for a diverse student population.

Responsibilities
Coaching and Advising
Provides individual coaching s on a complete range of career planning, job job search strategies, and recruitment processes.
Educates students on all recruiting opportunities and procedures; offers both scheduled and ???drop in??? appointments for time-sensitive student needs.
Program Oversight and Management
Leads the CMC Fellow Program, recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising a team of 60-80 MBA peer advisors.
Serves as a liaison with student board representatives to facilitate two-way communication on career-related information, problem-solve concerns, and provide timely feedback to the Assistant Dean, Career Education & Advising (CEA)and ongoing support.
Program Development and Event Planning
Designs, co-manages, and delivers relevant career educational programs, workshops, and seminars, often in collaboration with other CEA team members.
Trains and manages student leaders or external consultants engaged in program facilitation as needed. Provides administrative support and managerial participation for each project. Creates and delivers market-driven workshops on an as-needed basis.
Data and Administration
Performs data collections and analyses and gathers actionable student feedback to advise Executive Director, CEA, and Director, Employer Relations on development of policies and procedures related to recruiting as well as on individual student issues.
Maintains and updates on-line resources pertinent to areas of expertise, including industry/function-specific and job search platform skills. Maintains and continually upgrades personal and office knowledge base in areas pertinent to MBA employment.
Engagement & Relationship Management
Participates in all-office events and initiatives, including on-campus recruiting and departmental monthly meetings. Represents office in interactions with a wide range of internal and external constituents, including faculty, Dean???s office, Executives-in-Residence, other School and University administrators, and professionals from the private and public sectors, as needed.
Develops and maintains key relationships with select professional and affinity student clubs, industry-related Centers and Programs, CMC Coaching Program, Executive-in-Residence Program, and select faculty.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and Minimum 3-5 years of related experience required.
Must have experience with project and office management in a high volume environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
Professional demeanor and tact, with a customer service orientation, cultural sensitivity with a diverse student body, and problem solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Master???s degree preferred.
Knowledge of MBA/MS job search dynamics and family with CRM tools.
Strategic and proactive approach with a strong orientation towards continuous improvement and innovation.
