University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) School of Pharmacy (SOP) is currently seeking an Executive Director of Enrollment Management within the Dean's Administration, Office of Recruitment and Admissions. The Executive Director of Enrollment Management will oversee the strategic planning and execution of recruitment, admissions, and enrollment processes for eight PharmD, Masters, and PhD programs. This role is pivotal in achieving the institution's enrollment goals, optimizing tuition discounting strategies, and establishing strong partnerships with feeder institutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in higher education enrollment management, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to forecast and analyze enrollment trends.

PRIMARY DUTIES
1. Recruitment and Admissions:
- Direct and oversee long- and short-term strategic planning and execution of recruitment, admissions, and enrollment processes for academic programs.
- Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of applicants for PharmD, Masters, and PhD programs.
- Oversee the student admissions process and ensure seamless and efficient experience for applicants, responsibilities include management of faculty training on best practices for interviewing and scheduling processes.
- Collaborate with academic departments to align recruitment efforts with program goals and standards.
2. Marketing and Outreach:
- Partner with the School of Pharmacy's Office of Communications and Marketing on digital, print, and social media marketing campaigns to promote the institution's academic programs.
- Represent the institution at national and international recruitment events, conferences, and fairs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective students, alumni, and other key stakeholders.
- Establish partnerships with primary feeder institutions and connect faculty to prepharmacy groups to enhance visibility and relationships.
3. Tuition Discounting and Financial Aid:
- Optimize tuition discounting strategies to balance enrollment goals with financial sustainability.
- Work closely with the financial aid office to ensure students have access to necessary financial resources and support.
- Award endowed and donor scholarships in accordance with donors restrictions.
4. Partnership Development:
- Establish and nurture partnerships with feeder institutions, including community colleges and undergraduate programs, to create a robust pipeline of prospective students.
- Collaborate with external organizations and industry partners to enhance the institution's visibility and reputation.
5. Data Analysis and Forecasting:
- Conduct detailed forecasting and analysis of enrollment trends to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
- Utilize data-driven insights to continuously improve recruitment, enrollment, and admissions processes.
6. Leadership and Team Management:
- Supervise and mentor a team of enrollment management professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Ensure professional development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and effectiveness. Create a cohesive work team that works collaboratively to achieve program's goals. Oversee the recruitment, performance, and training of team members and continually reviews strengths and weaknesses of staff to maintain a well-trained, highly involved, and motivated team.
- Represent the School at national meetings at AACP.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
