Department Summary
Digital Spaces manages physical and virtual classrooms, AV/IT operations and solutions, specialized learning environments, and other learning environments (e.g., conference spaces). Digital Spaces oversees that campus spaces are suitably equipped and functional to meet the needs of the educational experience. Digital Spaces oversees the installation and long-term management of display technologies (e.g., screen displays, digital signage) across campus and UCLA event locations. AV/IT Operations oversees the daily administrative teams of the Digital Spaces team to ensure services meet quality and efficiency standards. This team is responsible for managing operational logistics, shipping and receiving, facilities management, budget and purchasing, security protocols, digital signage, content management systems, and ensuring business continuity among the Digital Spaces teams. Scope includes general use classrooms, event operations on The Hill and Luskin Conference Center, enterprise digital signage, BruinCast, digital spaces offices and operations centers, UCLA?s administrative conference rooms, and other ITS-managed spaces. This team also manages the installation and long-term management of display technologies. Position Summary
The Digital Signage Analyst (Content Management Systems) is a technician who will drive UCLA's digital signage strategy with an emphasis on content management systems. This role will oversee the creation, scheduling, deployment, and management of content across UCLA's digital signage network, ensuring all content is accurate, high-quality, and aligned with brand standards. The Analyst will demonstrate effective use of the campuswide digital signage content management platform to reliably deliver information across the University.
The Digital Signage Analyst will take guidance from more senior technicians to manage, install, maintain, and resolve customer issues pertaining to digital signage. This team member will effectively leverage UCLA's ticketing system to quickly address customer concerns, and will take initiative to troubleshoot problems to ensure efficient service The Digital Signage Analyst (Content Management Systems) will positively impact UCLA's operations and culture by working together with organizational leadership to use insights and creativity to deliver information technology and service comprehensively and consistently across the University. This role will execute UCLA's vision while modeling UCLA's culture and values.
Salary & Compensation
*UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Experience working in one or more of the following fields: information technology, management, customer service, higher education, AV/IT, or a related field. (Required)
Understanding of internet-based media distribution solutions, including knowledge of video walls, digital menu boards, kiosks, and other interactive display systems. (Required)
Familiarity with digital signage software and content management systems, and equipment and ability to use this information to troubleshoot complex systems. (Required)
Ability to assess campus or institutional needs for digital signage technology products and design services to meet those needs. (Required)
Knowledge of computer, media, and networking technology. (Required)
Strong written and verbal communication skills. (Required)
Able to develop positive working relationships with team members and customers (Required)

Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations
Bachelor's Degree in one or more of: information technology, computer science, public administration, business administration, communications, or related field, or equivalent combination of experience/training. (Required)
Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) (Preferred)
Digital Signage Certified Expert (DSCE) (Preferred)
Special Conditions for Employment
The anticipated pay range for this position is $32.09 - $37.36 per hour; salary is dependent upon the skills and experience of the selected finalist.
