The position oversees internal and external communication strategy for the unit. The incumbent of the position uses university strategies and process to execute the communications and marketing goals of the unit. This position advances the reputation of the University of Idaho and unit(s) through purposeful and creative messaging that is tied to strategic initiatives and builds campus wide and public understanding and support for the teaching and research mission of the unit(s) specifically, as well as the University of Idaho in general.
