Privately-owned dynamic practice in the Salt Lake area with SKY HIGH MORALE! Comp to $170K plus signing bonus
Neighborhood Veterinary Care is a privately-owned small animal hospital in the greater Salt Lake area. We are seeking a full-time and part-time veterinarian with possible ownership opportunities. We call ourselves ‘Neighborhood Vet Care’ because we wanted to create a place with a neighborhood feel. Where you could walk through the doors and feel like you are visiting a friend’s home complete with a fireplace and yummy snacks for pets and their owners.
What makes us different?
Positive, Collaborative Atmosphere: We pride ourselves on our amazing team culture where morale is sky-high! Our staff is supportive, collaborative, and always learning. One of our technicians said it best, “I’ve been in the field for 14 years, and I still learn something new here every day!”
Work-Life Balance: We value your time both inside and outside of the hospital. Full-time veterinarians enjoy flexible 4-day work weeks, while part-time roles offer the chance to work 2-3 days a week.
Advanced Care in a Cozy, Friendly Setting: Our hospital has all the tools you need to provide top-notch care, including digital x-rays (whole body and dental), access to specialists, and a dedicated, highly-trained support team of 7 veterinary technicians.
Community-Focused: We are a community-oriented practice and love celebrating the holidays with our clients. Each Christmas, we choose an animal-related charity and invite clients to donate. Our walls are filled with over 600 pet photos submitted by clients who love being part of our extended family.
A Place You’ll Love: Our head receptionist says it best: "I don’t have to work. I love this place so much. It’s the place I choose to be!" That’s the energy you’ll find at Neighborhood Vet Care—where everyone is part of the family.
About You:
Be part of a workplace where you can leave each day feeling fulfilled and appreciated.
Positive enthusiastic attitude with a passion for veterinary medicine
Professionally engage actively in all aspects of animal care, including diagnosis, treatment, and surgery.

About Travis & Associates, Veterinarian Recruiters
Over the past 24 years, our firm Travis Veterinarian Recruiters has placed veterinarians and hospital managers in the top 20% of veterinary practices nationwide and in Canada. Our firm only works with privately owned hospitals. In addition, as a certified career/life coach, I bring additional expertise to support your job search. Recently, one of my veterinarian candidates said, "As an independent recruiter, you are like an impartial third party. I feel I can get the real story about the practices from you!"
For the practice owner, our firm can increase employee retention due to a unique program based on both my expertise as a career and life coach and a veterinarian recruiter. It's called the Veterinary Retention Program. It helps owners maintain their high level of clinical excellence and customer service, gives you that competitive advantage in the market place and most importantly, retains staff. We find exceptional veterinarian candidates who are self-motivated, flexible, competent, and passionate about veterinary medicine. And for the veterinarian candidate, it supports them in the new practice by giving them an independent resource to go to should challenges arrive in their new positions.
