Job Summary:
We are seeking an innovative and results-oriented Ministry Revenue & Podcast Monetization Manager to oversee and grow the overall revenue streams for our ministry, with a specific focus on monetizing our podcast across social media platforms. This individual will be responsible for managing and optimizing various fundraising campaigns, partnerships, and revenue channels, including social media monetization, donations, sponsorships, and merchandising efforts. The ideal candidate will bring experience in digital marketing, fundraising, and revenue generation to help scale the ministry's impact and financial growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Strategy and Execution
Develop and implement comprehensive revenue generation strategies for the ministry, leveraging both traditional fundraising and modern digital platforms.
Identify and execute on new revenue streams, including donations, sponsorships, and merchandise sales.
Manage and grow existing donation channels, including online giving, recurring donations, and major gift campaigns.
Collaborate with the leadership team to align revenue goals with the ministry's mission and long-term vision.
Podcast Monetization
Develop and execute strategies to monetize the ministry's podcast across social media platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and others.
Identify and secure sponsorships, ads, and partnership opportunities specifically for the podcast.
Manage advertisement placements within podcast episodes and across digital platforms to maximize revenue.
Utilize affiliate marketing and premium content strategies to drive podcast-related revenue.
Campaign Management
Lead the planning and execution of key fundraising campaigns such as #GivingTuesday, year-end giving, and matching gift campaigns.
Drive innovative campaigns that increase donor engagement and ministry awareness across all digital platforms.
Oversee the marketing and communication efforts related to each campaign, ensuring consistency with the ministry’s messaging and values.
Social Media Monetization
Develop and implement a social media strategy focused on generating revenue through various features (ads, sponsorships, affiliate marketing, etc.) on platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
Track and report on key performance metrics for social media and podcast monetization, making data-driven adjustments to optimize income streams.
Donor and Partner Relations
Cultivate relationships with key donors, sponsors, and partners to ensure sustained financial support for the ministry.
Develop and maintain sponsorship packages that appeal to potential corporate and individual partners.
Merchandise and Affiliate Sales
Develop and manage merchandise lines tied to the ministry's brand, events, and podcast.
Create and manage affiliate marketing opportunities that align with the ministry’s mission, driving additional revenue.
Reporting and Analytics
Regularly report on the performance of revenue streams, fundraising efforts, and monetization strategies.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to enhance future revenue generation efforts.
Compliance and Financial Management
Ensure all revenue-generating activities are compliant with financial regulations and ministry policies.
Work with the finance team to manage budgets related to fundraising, social media monetization, and podcast efforts.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience in digital marketing, fundraising, or revenue management within a ministry or non-profit setting.
Experience with podcast monetization, social media strategy, and sponsorship management.
Strong understanding of donation platforms, donor engagement, and fundraising campaign management.
Analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and marketing metrics.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
A passion for faith-based initiatives and alignment with the ministry’s mission and values.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with podcasting tools and platforms is a plus.
