This position functions as an associate engineer for the Center for Design and Manufacturing Excellence (CDME) and is responsible for the execution of routine engineering tasks on industry-led projects relating to additive manufacturing, and commercialization of new technology through integrated design and manufacturing approaches; works closely with supervisor and more senior engineers to ensure projects are completed in accordance with project milestones, deliverable requirements, and within the cost and schedule agreed upon during project scoping; collaborates with CDME staff and students to coordinate multidisciplinary tasks; applies basic knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures gained through education; follows project management processes; travels to customer facilities f
