The UTC Office of Equal Opportunity & Accessibility (EOA) fulfills an important role overseeing compliance with civil rights and
affirmative action laws, regulations, and policies. EOA provides leadership, guidance, and training in these key areas to promote and
ensure equitable and inclusive environments for UTC community members. EOA coordinates the campus' ADA, Title VI, and Title VII
efforts and conducts applicable Title IX investigations.

The Compliance and Administrative Coordinator plays a key role on the EOA team, performing specialized tasks to ensure that
complaints and compliance issues are managed appropriately and efficiently. Serving as the initial triage point for complaints
received electronically or in-person, the coordinator will work closely with the compliance team and Executive Director and Assistant
Director to support the office's talent acquisition, training, and accommodation services, while providing frontline customer service,
and administrative program support, and office management assistance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Compliance Services
This position serves as a first point of contact for to concerns or complaints brought to EOA, by performing the following functions:
Monitors office email and online submissions for new complaints
Creates and updates electronic case management records and manages the request and receipt of relevant documentation
Assists in the development of investigative plans in collaboration with compliance team
Coordinates and schedules in intake and investigative interviews and meetings, transcribing, recording, and providing interview support when needed
Assists with the preparation of various reports, documents, publications, and responses to data inquiries or requests
Training and Program Support
This position is responsible for coordinating and supporting EOA programs and initiatives, including the following:
Provides logistical and administrative assistance for EOA programs, trainings, and activities
Assists with compiling periodic and on-demand data reports for internal and external stakeholders
Coordinates the workflow of the Division of Access and Engagement's Professional Development Fund application process
Collaborates with colleagues within EOA and the Division of Access and Engagement, along with other stakeholders to advance UTC's strategic diversity objectives
Supports the ADA accommodation process by scheduling meetings, procuring necessary items, and coordinating installations as required
Talent Acquisition Functions
Generates reports from applicant tracking database to support search process
Fields inquiries regarding search committee training, search progress, and related search-related matters
Archives records and documentation associated with search and recruitment activities
Assists with the creation of print and digital resources to support search and recruitment efforts
Maintains and updates rubric and question banks, providing access as necessary
Performs additional duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal, digital)
Ability and willingness to work as part of a team and independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) required
Excellent customer skills required

Minimum Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma and four years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Preferred Qualifications: A bachelor's degree and at least two years of relevant experience in a university setting, compliance-related field, or human resources is preferred.
Salary: $47,000
