The Paul Merage School of Business at UC Irvine offers three dynamic MBA programs - plus PhD, specialty masters and undergraduate business degrees - that prepare business leaders for our digitally driven world. Through our programs, students acquire the exceptional ability to grow their organizations through strategic innovation, analytical decision-making, digital information technology and collaborative execution. While the Merage School is relatively young, it has quickly grown to rank consistently among the top five percent of all business programs worldwide through exceptional student recruitment, world-class faculty, a strong alumni network and close relationships with both individual business executives and global corporations. The Specialty Masters Programs department includes the following programs: Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAc), Master of Finance (MFIN), Master of Business Analytics (MSBA) and Master of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (MIE). Two new programs are launching in Summer and Fall 2025. The department includes Recruitment and Admissions, Program Services and Career Services teams.

Your Role on the Team

The Program Administrator, Specialty Masters Program Services, is a member of the team charged with academic advising, student services, and career management for the Specialty Masters Program at The Paul Merage School of Business. Under the general supervision of the Senior Program Administrator, Program Services, the Program Administrator is responsible for student advising and program services, working directly with students (both domestic and international) in the program from post-admission through graduation. Responsibilities include academic advising and program coordination/management.

This is a one-year Contract position.

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $25.77 - $30.22 (hourly).

Required:

• Ability to multi-task; verbal and written communication skills.

• Skills in service orientation, organization, active listening, and critical thinking.
• Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training

Preferred:

• Knowledge of advising and counseling techniques.
• Knowledge of University-specific computer application programs and pertinent databases.
• Basic knowledge of student immigration and visa processes pertaining to international students and scholars.
• Knowledge of University processes and procedures.
• Understanding of University rules and regulations.
• 1-3 years Minimum of 1 - 3 years
