Expected to be responsible for the entire undergraduate DMD radiology curriculum. This curriculum will include didactic lectures, seminars and clinical radiology teaching including 3D imaging.
Expected to improve digital radiography capture, interpretation throughout the school by improving infrastructure and workflow.
Expected to assist both members in the Department of Oral Medicine, as well as the school, in general, to assist in their radiologic clinical and research needs
Expected to participate in scholarly activity, seeking and securing clinical research funding and contributing to scholarly publications.
Expected to establish relationships with the international oral maxillofacial radiology community and to participate in interprofessional activities within the broader University of Pennsylvania community.
Expected to lead school in preparation for its next accreditation related to radiology education, training and regulatory outcomes.
Potentially expected to develop a fellowship in Oral Radiology possibly leading to a residency program in the same discipline.
Summary of your major responsibilities includes the following:
Assume the role of Director of the Division of Radiology
Lead the Division of Radiology in education, clinical service and research, supporting all departments
Assume responsibility for the radiology curriculum including both didactic and clinical teaching
Contribute to the scientific knowledge of dental radiology through research
Qualifications DMD/DDS from USA preferred
Two year CODA certified OMR residency program from US/Canada
American Board of OMR Eligible/Certified
Five year experience with teaching and research preferred
