Position Information: The Client Services Technician will primarily be responsible for the day to day management of campus device management systems that includes, but is not limited to, application management for Windows, MacOS, and iOS devices, new device deployment, and troubleshooting of our management systems and workflows. This position will also serve as the first tier of support for tickets related to Secured Device Services while proactively monitoring and providing metrics for reporting purposes for various security vulnerabilities. The Technician will work with the Security Office to determine security best practices and requirements to help guide their applied knowledge of endpoint configuration management to help manage various types of hardware the campus oversees. Incumbent must be customer service focused as they will be required to interact with customers and disseminate information using project management tools, metrics and other reporting means. This position will work alongside the Configuration Analyst and their manager to determine the best course of action and provide guidance as needed.
This position is classified as hybrid with three days remote (M,W,F) and two days on-site at UCR (Tu, Th).
The full salary range for the Client Services Technician is $36.89 - $55.80 per hour. However, the pay scale for this position is up to $36.89 per hour. UCR bases salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, UCR is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
