Performs installations, maintenance, inspections, calibrations, repairs and testing on veterinary biomedical equipment and other electrical equipment used within the Veterinary Medical Center; prepare preventative maintenance schedules; consult with Faculty and staff to determine needs of equipment in order to assist in purchasing.

Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills
knowledge normally acquired in the first two or three years in college, technical or vocational school in digital/analog electronics and instrumentation; three to five years of related and progressively more expansive work experience in design and fabrication of analog and digital circuits, electro-mechanical components and vacuum systems; sophisticated scientific instrumentation; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Qualifications
BMET or CMET or equivalent with electronics and/or medical equipment.
