Conduct budget analysis for Renovation projects, including comparisons of budget vs. actual costs.
Update spreadsheets for Renovation and Grant projects, tracking new commitments, actual costs, and monitoring expenditures for compliance.
Prepare and provide detailed reports on Renovation and Grant projects, highlighting budget status, commitments, and actual expenditures.
Capital Planning:
Maintain and develop the 20-year Capital Plan, including updating the database, adding new projects, and preparing reports for senior management.
Project capital improvement costs over a 20-year period, totaling approximately $80 million.
Budget Preparation:
Assist the Assistant Director with annual and mid-year budget preparation, including analyzing current expenditures and proposing future expenditures.
Requisition and Purchase Order Management:
Process requisitions and purchase orders related to projects, ensuring that financial transactions are accurately tracked and managed.
Invoice Reconciliation:
Investigate and reconcile thousands of invoices related to projects, essential for maintaining accurate financial records and staying within budget.
Financial Reporting:
Support Design & Construction in providing timely and accurate reporting across multiple systems (Banner, MicroMain, CMS), including real-time data and forecasts necessary for effective budget management.
Capital Budget Preparation:
Prepare the annual capital budget, requiring detailed financial analysis and coordination across different systems.
System Transition Support:
Manage the challenges associated with transitioning to new project management software and systems, including adapting processes to fit the Einstein workflow.
General Duties:

QUALIFICATIONS
Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in a Business-related discipline and 2-3 years of relevant experience.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; knowledge of Banner Software is a plus.
Experience in budget management and monitoring.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
