As Director of Video and Production at ETSU, you will lead a high-performing team to share our university’s sports story with a national audience. You will oversee all technical video production and directing of live web streams for ESPN3, ESPN+, and more.
An innovative problem-solver, you will research equipment upgrades to push the boundaries of what’s possible in our facilities. As the technical authority, you will map our systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to maximize functionality.
Collaborating with conference and network partners, you will adhere to all compliance regulations while telling our athletics story creatively. Through strategic content sharing on digital platforms, you will boost visibility and fan engagement.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of production switcher, graphics, replay and audio consoles.
Knowledge of networking and IP Addressing/Subnets.
Knowledge of Birddog NDI Encoders/Decoders.
Knowledge of audio routing using Audinate Dante.
Knowledge of fiber infrastructure.
Skill with Microsoft Office including word, excel, etc.
Skill with Adobe software including After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in broadcasting, communications, or other related field.
Two (2) years experience in college athletics video production
(relevant Student Worker and Graduate Assistance experience may be considered).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (including After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop).
Experience with videography and editing preferred.
Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, etc.).
