Position Details:
Summary of Duties: The Research Coordinator is responsible for performing scientific research, which provides practical experience in the sleep and performance research field. The top priority in this position is data collection, which includes coordinating participants and processing the data. Additionally, this job has many diverse types of work beyond the top priority so flexibility and organizational skills are necessary. Professionalism is expected.Essential Job functions:75% Research20% Research Coordination5% Other Required Qualifications: Two years of college level course work in a relevant academic area AND two years of experience as a Research Study Assistant OR equivalent education/experience.

Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Demonstrated experience working independently and as a team member.
Demonstrated ability to proactively complete duties and responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in relevant field of study or equivalent related field experience performing professional-level work with scientific or clinical research protocols.
Experimental and analytical skills.
Demonstrated experience using statistics in a research setting.
Demonstrated experience in the areas of sleep, performance, or psychology research.

Monthly Salary: $3,317 to $4,410 | Range #38 Steps A-M | Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28. Step M is typically a longevity step.

Overtime Eligibility: Eligible FTE: 100% This is a Permanent position.
