Notre Dame Preparatory School is seeking an Events and Annual Fund Coordinator to begin immediately. The Events and Annual Fund Coordinator will report directly to the Associate Director of Advancement, but will work collaboratively and support employees across the Advancement Department. This 12-month position is ideal for a team player who can provide a range of donor support and services. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week.
Notre Dame Preparatory School is an independent, Catholic, school for girls in grades 6-12 located in Towson, Maryland. Founded in 1873 by the School Sisters of Notre Dame, Notre Dame Prep is rooted in tradition but contemporary in education empowering its students to become women who transform the world. The school’s original mission, to foster academic excellence, spiritual growth and practice social justice in its students continues to inspire the approximately 800 girls currently enrolled in grades 6-12.
Duties and Responsibilities
Events (50%):
Coordinate details for numerous fundraising, recognition and cultivation events (including guest lists, location, decorations, design, logistics, catering, staffing and onsite administration).
Support Advancement team with all aspects of their events and programming. Signature events include Alumnae Weekend, Blazer Dash, Gala, Leadership reception, Scholarship breakfast, Alumnae Bingo, Pledge for the Prep and Blazer Raiser phonathons, and more.
Liaise with outside vendors and internal departments (technology, facilities, security, etc.) on all aspects of events including but not limited to rentals and logistics.
Provide on-site, day-of support for events.
Work occasional evening and weekend events as needed (flex hours are possible).
Annual Fund (50%):
Support and collaborate with the Associate Director of Advancement/Director of Annual Giving by assisting with the execution of a comprehensive, year-round annual giving fundraising plan. This effort includes multichannel fundraising to support the dollar and participation goals and programming for the long-term growth of The Fund for Notre Dame Prep. This includes but is not limited to the creation of email and mailed solicitations and the reviewing of donor lists.
Recruit, train, and support Fund for Notre Dame Prep volunteers so that they can help advance our annual fund efforts.
Prepare and send acknowledgment letters for donors and process gifts in Raiser’s Edge.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
Skills/Abilities/Experience:
Three (3) years of related work experience preferably in a school setting.
Experience with events and/or project management preferred.
Highly detailed-oriented.
Ability to prioritize work and perform multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
Exhibit a professional demeanor and maintain confidentiality of data and constituent information.
Works well as a team member as well as independently.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required.
Experience with Canva, Constant Contact, Raiser’s Edge, and GiveCampus preferred.
