As part of the VP's responsibilities to the systemwide academic programs within the department, the VP serves on standing governing boards, councils, and committees for each of the programs. The VP also chairs ad-hoc working groups charged by the Provost that address signature issues for academic programs that require system wide expertise and senior leadership buy-in.
