Description:The Marketing Department at the Mendoza College of Business, University of Notre Dame, invites applications for multiple positions at the Assistant, Associate, or full Professor level, including the potential for an endowed chair, in either consumer behavior, marketing management and strategy, or quantitative marketing. Position duties include research, teaching, and service. The appointment is expected to begin in Fall 2025. We welcome applicants at all levels of seniority, including new graduates, untenured Assistant Professors, tenured Associate Professors, and tenured full Professors for the position. Qualifications: Applicants at the entry level must have completed all requirements for a Ph.D. degree or have completed all but dissertation in Marketing or a closely related field. Applicants at the advanced Assistant, Associate, or full Professor level must have a Ph.D. in Marketing or a closely related field. More senior applicants should have research, teaching, and service records sufficient to merit appointment at the appropriate rank.
This appointment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check. Applicants will be asked to identify all felony convictions and/or pending felony charges. Felony convictions do not automatically bar an individual from employment. Each case will be examined separately to determine the appropriateness of employment in the particular position. Failure to be forthcoming or dishonesty with respect to felony disclosures can result in the disqualification of a candidate. The University of Notre Dame was founded in November 1842 by Rev. Edward F. Sorin, C.S.C., a priest of the Congregation of Holy Cross, a French missionary order. It is located adjacent to South Bend, Indiana, the center of a metropolitan area with a population of more than 315,000. Chartered by the state of Indiana in 1844, the University was governed by the Holy Cross priests until 1967, when governance was transferred to a two-tiered, mixed board of lay and religious trustees and fellows.
