DESCRIPTION
Under the direction of the Associate Director, this position will manage multiple clinics in La Jolla including (Genesee Family & Sports Medicine) and (Chancellor Park - Primary Care Sports Medicine).
The Practice Manager position involves the administrative services and operations for health care clinics or centers, in accordance with federal, local, and internal standards, policies, and regulations. Typically includes operations, fiscal management, program planning, and/or external marketing activities. Management levels will include oversight of clinical patient care. Supervises clinic operations, typically spanning multiple providers, clinics and/or practices. Subordinates include staff involved with professional operational functions. Resolves escalated issues and serves as a resource in areas under supervision. Participates in developing quality improvement programs and ensures effective implementation and monitoring. Evaluates and ensures resolution to incident reports across a broad range of issues, such as privacy, safety, or customer service.
Oversight of administrative areas such as practice revenue management, billing systems and procedures, facilities and safety procedures, registration, new patient coordination, scheduling, medical records storage and maintenance, insurance authorizations. Will also supervise patient support staff such as patient service representatives, medical assistants, LVNs, RNs, Nurse Practitioner and an Athletic Trainer. Management of clinicians will be in partnership with the Clinic Medical Director and includes participation in recruitment, onboarding and personnel management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Nine (9) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus Five (5) years of related experience/training including two (2+) or more years in healthcare operations.
Experience and proven success in supervisory, organizational, and customer service skills to effectively supervise and prioritize the activities of subordinate staff, and to manage the complex workflow and multiple priorities of admissions and registration.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Three or (3+) more years of supervisory experience.
Primary care experience with large health system management experience.
Budgeting and history of successful financial management/rev cycle management.
Demonstrated project management.
Human resource experience i.e.: recruitment and labor relations.
Policy and Protocol creation and management.
Lean management experience.
Experience working in a physician dyad (IE a Clinic medical director).
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
This salaried position supports a 7 day a week operation.

Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $85,400 - $156,800 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $40.90 - $75.10
