The associate project manager will be responsible for management of research and technical assistance services within the center. The individual will also contribute to the administrative support for financial and HR activities in the center in collaboration with OERC leadership and college personnel. The OERC is a unit of the John Glenn College of Public Affairs at the Ohio State University.
The associate project manager will be responsible for tasks related to project development, tracking, and completion. The activities will focus on management of external contract/grant submissions, data, and technical assistance projects with clients from the State of Ohio, and research efforts with partners from OSU and other universities. The specific project management duties will vary, but include budget tracking, management of deliverables, use of a ticketing system for project delivery, and report/product delivery. Additionally, the associate project manager will serve as the day-to-day support for financial and HR activities in the center. The individual will maintain spreadsheets with project budgets and be responsible for communicating effort with financial analysts. Other administrative duties will include some schedule, note taking, and reporting from regular or periodic project deliverables.
The associate project manager will report to the associate director of the center and collaborate with others in the unit. This position will be located in The John Glenn College of Public Affairs in Page Hall on OSU's main campus and have regular working hours of Monday-Friday from 8:00 am-5:00 pm. Working hours may be adjusted during times of high activity in the centers and/or for special events. Some travel to research sites within the state of Ohio will be required. This position is grant funded and contingent upon continued funding availability.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
0-2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency with Office365 suite and/or project management tools, university research experience, and Workday or other enterprise management software platform.

The salary range for this position will be $51,000 to $67,000 to be determined by internal equity and the candidate's education and experience.
