The Technology Operations team oversees the design, development, implementation, maintenance, enhancement, and operations of IT platforms, systems, and applications in service of administrative units. The team also monitors the effectiveness and service delivery standards of these technologies to ensure business outcomes are met through innovative technologies. Additionally, the team focuses on process improvement and service excellence to key campus customers.The Events & Transportation Products team oversees the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of a suite of products essential for activities such as venue scheduling, campus traffic/parking, and vehicle management. The team stays up to date on emerging technologies and industry best practices, recommending improvements to campus operations. Position Summary
The Supervisor, Parking & Fleet IT Products will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the product team, offering guidance, managing project timelines, and ensuring the optimal allocation of resources, while also serving as a liaison between the team and ITS leadership. They will lead the development, launch, and ongoing refinement of UCLA's suite of parking and fleet product portfolio technologies which encompass business-critical and revenue-generating custom-developed and off-the-shelf applications, systems, platforms, and infrastructure, encompassing tools for permit management, parking enforcement, and vehicle tracking. This supervisor will lead the prioritization of delivery plans, oversee the development of acceptance criteria as it relates to organizational goals, and facilitate continuous improvement to support growth and operational effectiveness.
The Supervisor, Parking & Fleet IT Products will partner with the cross-functional delivery teams to ensure products meet business and user requirements, and with business stakeholders to iterate on and improve the products over time. They will conduct research into emerging technologies and industry practices and make recommendations accordingly. They will be involved in the cloud SaaS platforms solutions, and researching, designing, developing specifications for designing, writing, modifying, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and maintaining source code and system configurations. They will have direct or related involvement in designing related databases, user interfaces, integration to other systems / applications, content, or multimedia processes. Their work will include analysis and design of post-production processes, quality assurance, maintenance, and documentation. Special Conditions for Employment
This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that includes regular visits to campus as needed (for those who work remotely, travel/lodging expenses are not eligible for reimbursement).
The anticipated pay range for this position is $135,740-$157,071, annually; salary is dependent upon the skills and experience of the selected finalist.
