The Director of Graduate Domestic Admissions will lead our admissions initiative for graduate domestic on-campus programs as well as online graduate and undergraduate programs. The Director for Graduate Domestic Admissions reports to the Executive Director for Enrollment Operations and Graduate Admissions. This position will develop and implement a strategy to increase enrollment for key target audiences.

You will:
Lead the development of a coordinated strategic and financially efficient enrollment model for graduate and online programs.
Oversee the management of program inquiries, applications, and enrollment.
Monitor leads to manage successful enrollment campaigns.
Develop and lead an office of dedicated professionals in recruitment and admissions best practices.
Work effectively with program directors in all schools to develop a cohesive recruitment strategy for each program.
Assist in the development of enrollment goals that support the university's strategic operating plan.
Refine processes, procedures, and current business practices to improve application processes and increase yield.
Use a data-driven approach for continuous improvement of the admissions lifecycle.
Provide and set standards for excellent student and customer service.
Develop structures and processes to collect and analyze marketing and enrollment data to support decision-making and make recommendations to guide strategy development.
Collaborate with a University team to develop partnerships with for-profit and non-profit organizations.
Conduct enthusiastic presentations for University events occurring while attending unique recruitment events throughout the year.
Provide admission counseling to prospective students and be responsible for day-to-day communications with students in person, via telephone, text or email.
Positively promote the University of New Haven to all prospective students and families, alumni, industry colleagues, and community.
Assist in other duties related to the University?s mission and enrollment goals.
Ability to represent the University of New Haven in a variety of situations with the ability to competently interact with a diverse population of prospective students, faculty, and staff.
Significant experience in sales management and or higher education.
Experience with recruitment of non-traditional audiences.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Exceptional organizational, planning, and project management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products required; Banner Experience preferred; CRM system experience required.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required for the travel and events component of the position.
Ability and willingness to travel.
Ability to work required events on select weekend dates throughout the enrollment cycle.
Must demonstrate a tireless commitment to enrolling and retaining a diverse student body.
