GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide administrative assistance and support to the Vice President of Student Services and Enrollment Management (SSEM) and guidance to SSEM support staff.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
Provide administrative support to and assist in project management for the Vice President of SSEM and the SSEM division.
Work closely with the Associate Vice President of Human Resources, as well as Deans and other "direct reports" to the Vice President, in preparing reports and ensuring execution of collective bargaining agreement contractual requirements.
Coordinate projects and reports generated by the office, such as medical withdrawals, account appeals, CORI/SORI forms, emergency grant applications, financial aid advances. Ensures timely response and correspondence with requests.
Conduct research and prepare reports using the College's student information system.
Exercise discretion in handling confidential information offered by students, faculty, and staff; make referrals to appropriate sources.
Maintain confidential files and review material for placement in archives.
Schedule various meetings such as staff, division, retention and enrollment management.
Keep personnel data current in preparation for re-appointments, change of rank/grade, and performance evaluations for all full-time and part-time unit professional staff, and all non-unit professionals.
Prepare appropriate letters for the recommendation of tenure, reappointment, sabbatical and change of grade for professional staff.
Work occasional evening and weekend hours as necessary to support division events.
Other duties, as assigned.
Job Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited higher education institution plus 3 years of successful, progressive, administrative support experience.
High level of competence in using Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Jenzabar (or other similar Student Information System), Zoom, and other communication and data analysis software.
Enthusiasm for working effectively with a diverse population of students, administrators, faculty and the public.
Experience preparing reports using relational databases.
High standard for delivery of exceptional customer service.
Experience working within a collective bargaining environment.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Effective time management and organization skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Effective interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work in a sensitive, confidential environment.

Additional Information:
COMPENSATION: Annual Salary Range of $70,000-$78,000, dependent upon qualifications. Full-time, Non-unit Professional Position. Includes participation in a comprehensive employee benefits program including option for membership in the Massachusetts State Employees' Retirement System.
