General Description
DAVACO is looking for a Business Development Director to lead sales activities and drive market share growth within specified accounts and established client relationships.
We are looking for a strategic, collaborative, energetic team player with a track record of driving profitable growth and building strong relationships. The individual that will succeed in this role will have excellent communication skills, a hunger for growth & hunting, and a data-driven mindset to drive new communication & solution selling to our target clients challenges.
Job Summary
In this role, the Business Development Director will become the trusted resource within our customer teams to partner on existing projects and work their internal network to expand our relationship. This will be done through active client engagement, face to face meetings, monthly and or quarterly business reviews and overall partnership development. This role will work very closely with our operational partners to collaborate on upcoming opportunities and solution design with our internal teams on the best approach for our client.
This role will be tasked with maintaining our existing client relationships and further expanding upon the work we do with those brands. We expect in this role the Business Development Director to become intimately familiar with our client’s brand, their organization, culture, future plans and overall marketplace. Leveraging that knowledge to facilitate future opportunity meetings, this position will play a critical in our continued growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead sales activities and drive market share growth within specified accounts and established client relationships.
Hunt for new business opportunities and create awareness about the company's offerings.
Support the development of sales strategies to achieve defined targets and maintain existing revenue streams.
Report sales activities and progress to management and key stakeholders.
Develop and implement sales strategies to generate profitable growth within assigned National Accounts.
Analyze customer-specific and market trends to uncover new business opportunities.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through in-person meetings, entertainment, and regular business reviews.
Accurately forecast monthly financial revenue for assigned customers.
Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, operations, finance, and marketing, to develop and execute customer strategies.
Partner with Operational Project Management and Business Unit Leaders to develop selling initiatives and address client needs.
Qualifications
Proven experience in prospecting and closing new business deals.
Strong analytical capabilities, organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
Knowledge of and experience with Project Management, Facility Maintenance, and/or Construction Projects (ideal).
Demonstrated ability to manage relationships and drive strategic new programs to fruition.
Customer and team-centric approach with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Track record of driving profitable growth and building strong relationships.
Excellent communication skills, a hunger for growth and hunting, and a data-driven mindset.
Strategic, collaborative, and energetic team player.
