Come work with us in the Capital District area of New York. We are a 7-doctor small animal practice looking for our next full-time Associate Veterinarian. We are a modern, well equipped practice with in-house laboratory, digital radiography, ultrasound, class IV therapeutic laser, surgical laser, and paperless medical records. Our hospital has AAFP gold-standard cat friendly certification and utilizes fear free principles. We offer our associates mentorship, continuing education, professional liability and dues, health insurance, a competitive salary, and a supportive environment as we strive for a long-term relationship. We also offer the opportunity to have a positive work/life balance with a 4-day work week. We have NO WEEKEND HOURS and emergencies are referred to a local emergency clinic. The practice offers a very supportive mentoring program. 4 of our 7 DVMs joined the practice right out of school and have stayed with the practice. We foster a supportive, collaborative environment amongst our DVMs. We have quarterly team building activities ranging from laser tag and game nights to bonfires and a holiday dinner,
The Capital Region of Upstate New York is a great place to live. Plenty of history and modern convenience in New York's capital. For lovers of the outdoors we are 40 minutes from the Adirondack mountains with lakes, rivers and endless hiking trails, both cross country and down hill skiing. 2 hours from NYC and 3 hours from Boston for easy day trips / long weekends in the city.
