At Clark University, the Entrepreneurship and Innovation (E&I) Program fosters a hands-on, student-driven environment where creative thinkers and innovators turn ideas into impactful ventures. As the E&I Program Director, you'll lead this dynamic program, empowering students to challenge convention, launch new businesses, and engage with real-world challenges. You will collaborate with a passionate community of faculty, alumni, and local entrepreneurs to inspire the next generation of change-makers.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership: Develop and execute the E&I program's strategic vision, aligning it with Clark's mission to challenge convention and inspire change.
Academic and Co-Curricular Oversight: Oversee courses for the E&I minor, manage co-curricular offerings such as student-run ventures, and coordinate signature events like Clark Tank and Clark Collective pop-ups.
Student Support: Advise students on the minor, support student-led businesses, and mentor aspiring entrepreneurs to achieve their goals.
Event Management: Lead major entrepreneurship events, engaging alumni and external partners for mentoring and judging roles.
External Relations: Cultivate relationships with local businesses, community leaders, and alumni to create opportunities for student internships, partnerships, and post-graduation success.
Faculty and Staff Management: Recruit, supervise, and support part-time faculty and student employees, ensuring program excellence.
Marketing and Communications: Collaborate with university communications to enhance visibility through digital platforms and strategic marketing initiatives.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.
5+ years of experience in a university setting or entrepreneurial environment.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Familiarity with business, startups, and managing student-run ventures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, independent, and collaborative setting.
Experience working with diverse populations, supervising staff, and managing program budgets.
Availability to work nights and weekends for key events and initiatives.
