Job Summary:
The disciplinary focus for this distinguished chair is marketing. The successful candidate will play a leadership role in developing and executing excellent experiential learning opportunities related to marketing. The candidate can be either a tenure track professor of marketing OR a non-tenure track “Professor of Practice.” Rank is open.
The ideal candidate is a faculty member who is passionate about exploring and advancing cutting edge specialties within marketing, and who can help prepare students to succeed in the marketing profession. We are open to candidates with a specialty in any of the primary sub-specialties within marketing, for example sales, customer success, consumer research, user experience, digital marketing, or marketing analytics. Our marketing lab features state-of-the-art equipment and software, and we are ready to invest in other tools as necessary.
We are seeking faculty members excited to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in marketing and related subjects. Marist faculty are expected to maintain qualifications in, and connections to, the field of marketing, either through academic research or professional activity. They also participate in the life of the School and its activities, including involvement in committee work, student advising and support, and community outreach activities. The School of Management will be accepting applications immediately for this open-rank, tenure-track or term, position for the fall 2025 semester.
We welcome candidates who will place a strong emphasis on quality teaching in a small classroom setting. Our typical class size is fewer than 25 students. The expected course load for this position is 12 credits per year (2-2 load). Duties will include oversight of our marketing lab and development and supervision of significant extracurricular opportunities for our marketing students.
Minimum Qualifications:
Teure-track candidates: Terminal degree in marketing or closely related field (Ph.D. or D.B.A.) and extensive professional experience related to marketing.
Term candidates: Master’s degree in business or closely related field, and extensive professional experience related to marketing.
Essential Functions:
Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses. Maintaining an active research agenda or significant professional activities that maintain connection to the marketing profession. Providing leadership related to experiential learning in marketing. Advising students, taking part in service activites, and serving on committees as needed.

403(b) Tax Deferred Annuity – Roth option available. Voluntary, up to IRS maximum contribution.
Tuition Benefits:
Up to 16 undergraduate credits per semester. Up to 18 graduate credit per academic calendar. Eligibility extends to employee, spouse, and dependent children under age 26.
College pays 100% tuition only.
Eligible dependents may be Reimbursed up to $2,000 per semester towards tuition at another accredited institution.

The AACSB-accredited Marist School of Management, which includes majors in Accounting, Business Administration, and Economics is a leader in teaching students to develop the skills to succeed in today’s global business community.
