The senior communications specialist will be responsible for the strategy to achieve effective communication and marketing of data management and analytics-related products and services.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Communications PlanningÂ
Develop communications plans as part of an end-to-end change management strategy in support of the Enterprise Data Management program. Activities may include, but are not limited to, leading brainstorm and ideation sessions, participating in stakeholder outreach, setting measurable objectives, assessing results, and making recommendations regarding resource needs.Â
Serve as project manager for content creation and marketing communications. Cultivate, write, edit and disseminate stories. Design or supervise design of visually appealing and relevant content for electronic and print distribution.
Communications Implementation and EvaluationÂ
Manage the day-to-day implementation of communications in support of components of the Enterprise Data Management program.Â
Ensure the right messages get to the right individuals at the right time by identifying and leveraging existing communications channels and recommending new channels if needed.Â
Ensure communications are consistent in terms of messaging and visual branding.Â
Proactively identify and elevate issues and concerns in a timely way.Â
Content Development and ManagementÂ
Independently, and at times in collaboration with others, prepare communications including but not limited to: presentations, briefings, web content, infographics, articles, email content, video scripts, progress updates, social media content, etc., for a variety of internal audiences and communication channels.Â
Review and edit content developed by other members of the Enterprise Data Management team as needed. Â
Product and Services MarketingÂ
Develop marketing strategy and related collateral.
Assess channel success and tweak marketing strategy to maximize reach.
Marketing Event CoordinationÂ
Develop event content and prepare agenda, coordinate with presenters.
Design and order marketing collateral (flyers, stickers, etc.).
Assess and recommend space reservations and A/V needs for events.
Perform other duties as assigned.Â
