GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide clinical instruction to students in the Dental Hygiene Program. Position requires participation in calibration and team meetings.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
Uses established calibration protocol to evaluate student performance of clinical skills and related practice procedures pertaining to radiography and office management software.
Weekly team meetings.
Monthly program faculty meeting.
Curriculum/calibration meetings, as scheduled.
Job Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program / registered dental hygienist.
Current Massachusetts Dental Hygiene License.
Current Massachusetts Local Anesthesia Permit L.
Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene or closely related field.
Strong clinical experience in dental hygiene.
Strong skills in supportive communication and guiding students to develop and demonstrate correct techniques.
Experience utilizing digital radiography and computerized dental management software.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Instructional experience in an academic or clinical setting.
Willingness to learn academic software to assess/evaluate student performance.

Additional Information:
COMPENSATION: $55.82 per hour. Part-time, non-benefited, MCCC Unit position.
