The Administrative Fellowship at UCI Health provides a broad range of healthcare administration experiences over the course of the 12-month program. Under mentorship of a medical center senior administrator, the Fellow participates in and leads prioritized and challenging enterprise initiatives, an approach intended to help the Fellow develop marketable project management, analytical, leadership and interpersonal skills. The Fellow uses skills as a seasoned and experienced administrative operations professional to manage, plan and administer assigned projects. Performs short- and long-term planning for the organization. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Required Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Must have strong follow-through, initiative, and the ability to work independently
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Demonstrate strong interpersonal and organizational skills to interact courteously and effectively with physicians, university officials, patients, and staff members.
Completion of an MHA, MBA, MSN, MPH, MHI or Master's degree in related field between July 1, 2023, and July 1, 2025 (programs that require fellowship/residency for completion of degree meet this requirement)
Analytical skills that are typically acquired during the course of obtaining a master's degree
Ability to travel to clinics, and other campus offices
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
