This position is responsible for the overall technical support of physical production and classroom instruction associated with the School of Filmmaking curriculum as well as other School sanctioned productions. This position requires extensive knowledge of digital and film production and associated equipment. The position is responsible for maintaining all production equipment and for adhering to all policies and procedures in support of the School of Filmmaking’s mission. The position is responsible for maintaining and/or establishing relationships with vendors, suppliers, technical personnel and entities in the ongoing acquisition, installation and maintenance of production equipment. This position supervises the Technical Coordinator and represents Technical Operations in production
