Position Purpose New England College seeks part-time undergraduate and graduate management faculty to teach in a variety of disciplines and subject areas including:
Accounting; Forensic Accounting
Economics; Finance for Leaders
Human Resources; Organizational Behavior
Negotiation & Conflict Resolution; Ethical Decision Making
Project Management; IT Projects and Change
Procurement Analysis; Agile and Lean Processes
Quality and Technology in the Workplace
Marketing, Research, and Communications
Leadership and Change in Organizations
Project and Portfolio Management
Operational Planning and Policy
Sport & Recreation Management
Management undergraduate and graduate courses are offered on campus, online and in hybrid and low-residency formats at the Henniker, NH campus. Faculty teaching in the Management graduate Spanish Language Programs must be bilingual (English and Spanish).
Essential Duties Summary Review and grade all work submitted by students and provide timely and substantive feedback. Coach struggling students toward success. Teach from approved curriculum in accordance with assigned schedule to ensure student satisfaction. Engage all students to facilitate and achieve course learning outcomes. Participate in school retention initiatives by maintaining productive conduct with students and by getting in touch with, and offering assistance to absent students. Advise students in matters related to academics, attendance, and behaviors. Maintain and report student grades and attendance in accordance with university policies.
Required Qualifications Superior interpersonal, customer service, presentation, and communication skills. Creative, innovative, and problem-solving skills. Proven organizational skills and ability to complete assignments timely and accurately with minimum supervision. Proficiency with MS Office, Blackboard and the Internet. Demonstrated strengths in teaching at the college level is essential. An earned master's degree in a business or IT project management discipline with either 18 hours in the discipline for which you are applying or professional certification and experience relevant to the discipline.
Preferred Qualifications An earned doctorate degree in a business or IT project management discipline with either 18 hours in the discipline for which you are applying or professional certification and experience relevant to the discipline.
