Overview
This role is within the Contingency, Resolution and Regulatory Engagement team within Treasury Americas. Among other things, this team is responsible for the development and maintenance of: Contingency Funding and Capital Contingency Plans, Resolution forecasting capabilities, US Dollar (USD) Cash Flow Forecasting Analytics, the Firm-wide Borrower in Custody (BIC) Program, and ongoing engagement with U.S. Regulators.
As a member of this team, you will partner with the Business and Risk colleagues to further enhance Treasuries capabilities, including but not limited to (1) analyzing the accuracy of USD forecasts, (2) maintaining and expanding the BIC Program, (3) supporting broader contingency planning efforts.

What You'll Do
Analyze USD forecasting accuracy, comparing forecasted cash balances with actual cash balances for the US region; lead business engagement to understood root cause of any USD mis-forecasts, collaborating to find solutions to enhance forecast accuracy
Perform statistical analysis, periodically, on actual USD cash trends
Manage the monthly BIC pledge submission process, including working directly with the various business areas/ loan operations
Engage directly with businesses to analyze loan portfolios and establish a process to expand BIC pledges based on eligibility criteria
Assist in the further automation of reporting, including liaising directly with reporting team on a regular basis related to key liquidity and capital metrics
Coordinate liquidity/ capital contingency responses with various stakeholders (e.g., Liquidity Management, Capital Management, business, etc.) on an ad-hoc basis
Skills You'll Need
Relevant experience within a major bank or consulting firm. Experience working in a Treasury function preferable
BS/BA degree from a top tier institution or professional designation (e.g., CFA) or equivalent experience
Experience in Banking or Capital Markets and/or relevant experience in Resolution Planning or Liquidity Management
Ability to understand business drivers - working knowledge of financial products and services
Understanding of key banking regulations

Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $100,000 - $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
