Charlotte County Libraries and History is seeking a highly motivated and public-oriented Librarian Archivist with experience in local history collections. The candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of two archival facilities as well as performing collaborative work with Libraries and History staff, including front-line library tasks. This involves the planning, directing, and implementing of a diverse array of programming and outreach as well as the acquisition, cataloging, access, and storage of archival material. Successful candidates will also be responsible for making the archival collection more accessible to the public through the digitization of material for the online archives and periodic exhibits within each library branch.
