Royal Palm Academy, located in Naples, Florida, is a joyful, vibrant, independent, and family-oriented Catholic PK-8 school dedicated to providing an education of rich academics with Catholic formation. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to assume the position of Director of Admissions.
The Director of Admissions will lead the Admission Department in supporting Royal Palm Academy’s objective of recruitment and enrollment. This role serves as the public face and first contact of Royal Palm Academy, responsible for marketing our school, our recruitment efforts, applicant management, and leadership. The Director of Admissions is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and reports directly to the Head of School.
Manage the applicant pool to ensure completeness of each applicant file, collecting all necessary forms and documentation.
Review all potential enrollees and provide comments on suitability.
Lead the Admissions Committee in reviewing all applicants for admission.
Maintain accurate records and reports related to admissions activities.
Assist in the development of policies regarding the awarding of financial aid and administer awards in accordance with approved policy.
Evaluate and execute admissions decisions in collaboration with the Admissions Committee.
Develop and execute marketing plans in collaboration with the Director of Advancement to promote the RPA’s visibility and general recruitment efforts.
Assist in the production of print materials, ads, and social media posts designed for student recruitment.
Conduct school tours and other events related to admissions, coordinating with other departments for support.
Travel on behalf of RPA for recruitment events, speaking engagements, and meetings with key constituents.
Meet enrollment goals for assigned target recruitment area and develop strategies based on statistical reports and forecasting.
Develop and deliver on-campus events and programs for prospective students and families.
Coordinate with other departments regarding student re-enrollment and summer programs recruitment.
Utilize effective sales skills to guide prospective families through the admissions process and achieve enrollment goals.
Develop and manage an approved budget to support recruitment efforts.
Experience in admissions process, preferably in an educational environment.
Strong interpersonal, public speaking, and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
Proficiency in relevant software and database management.
Availability to work evenings and weekends as required for admission events and activities.
Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing.
One or more of the following is strongly preferred. Please include in your resume or cover letter the experience you have in any of the following:
Florida’s Tax Credit Scholarships Program, Florida Family Empowerment Scholarships, FES-UA program, Step-Up, and AAA scholarship programs
Familiarity with the FACTS/Renweb SIS and enrollment management system
Direct participation or leadership in school-provided financial assistance programs
Direct experience in K-12 independent school admissions
Catholic or independent school education experience (teacher, administration, or admissions)
Physical, Mental, and Emotional demands include:
Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks such as computer keyboarding, writing, and reading
This position is required to set up for events, assist during events, and help break down events.
The ability to lift, carry, move, up to 25 pounds; ability to assist during events.
The ability to traverse the entire school campus and provide a tour to a prospective family, including playgrounds and athletic fields with uneven and non-paved surfaces.
Must be able to make quick decisions.
Must be calm in stressful situations.
Must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks.
Must work well independently as well as part of a team.
Must possess a very high level of attention to detail
Must be flexible and work occasional evenings and weekends
Must be able to handle prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Start date is flexible and is preferred as June 1 or July 1.
