The Texas Land Title Association (TLTA), a statewide trade association based in Austin, seeks an energetic, motivated, organized, customer service-oriented professional for the position of Project Coordinator - Continuing Education. This position will be a central team member in the TLTA education, programs and professional development area. This position works directly with and reports to the Director of Education, Meetings & Professional Development to organize and implement the functions of TLTA’s successful and highly regarded educational and professional certification programs. Specifically, this position:
Provides organizational, logistical, administrative and technical assistance and is in charge of customer service for all on-demand programming, live webinars, in-person seminars and conferences, and our professional certification program.
Coordinates continuing education for more than 6,000 registrants per year, including interfacing with multiple accrediting bodies, maintaining records and creating and verifying attendance.
Assists with meeting planning in advance and onsite for all seminars and events.
Plans and handles logistics for external special events and meetings.
Coordinates with speakers and instructors on all logistics and details, including preparation of speaker materials, AV needs, confirmations, travel.
Handles administration of TLTA’s certification program, including working with prospective designees, managing the application process, maintaining records, administering tests, handling re-certification process, assisting with recognition programs and working with committee members to ensure tests and materials are up-to-date.
Assists with the management of several committees including sending meeting notices, preparing agendas and working with volunteers to carry out action plans and assignments.

Qualifications for the position include:
Bachelor’s degree. Association experience a plus.
Strong technology interest and skills required and iMIS knowledge or comparable meetings or association management database knowledge preferred.
Meeting planning experience preferred.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and an interest in data, spreadsheets and solving problems.
Self-starter with a track record of independently managing multiple projects in a customer/member-facing environment.
Excellent time management skills and an active, positive response to juggling multiple priorities and time pressures.
Must be able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
Should possess positive interpersonal skills and enjoy dealing with a variety of people.
Must have an interest in always looking for ways to improve efficiency, organization and customer satisfaction.
The Texas Land Title Association (TLTA) is a state-wide trade association representing the title insurance industry in Texas.
